NOW HIRING: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Institute for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ITVET) Belize City is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Maintenance Technician.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Technology, or a related technical/trade field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on industry or educational facility experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain all ITVET buildings and grounds in excellent condition.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Service and maintain machinery, motors, pumps, and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance logs and records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Support institutional activities and events with technical expertise.

Salary:
Salary will be determined according to the Government of Belize Pay Scale.
