 Overview

ITVET Belize District proudly offers seven full-time (day) two-year programs (Level 1 & Level 2), along with one Pre-Vocational program for the 2025–2026 training year.

These programs are designed to equip trainees with technical knowledge, practical skills, and life competencies to prepare them for employment or entrepreneurship.

Full-Time (Day) Two-Year Programs

• Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (Level 1 & 2)

• Commercial Food Preparation (Level 1 & 2)

• Welding (Level 1 & 2)

• General Cosmetology (Level 1 & 2)

• Carpentry (Level 1 & 2)

• Electrical Installation (Level 1 & 2)

• Motor Vehicle Chassis System (Level 1 & 2)

Pre-Vocational Program

The Pre-Vocational Program introduces trainees to a variety of trade areas through Trade Exploration and essential general core subjects, preparing them for future specialization.

General Core Subjects

All Level 1 & 2 programs include mandatory general core subjects, which complement the trade areas:

• Mathematics

• Communication Skills

• Entrepreneurial Skills

• Computer

• AutoCAD

• Life Skills (2nd Semester)

Exemption from one or more support subjects is contingent upon a valid CXC Pass Certificate.
